Mad Bag
$8.49
If you have been wanting to learn how to grow mushrooms the easy way you have come to the right place! Our Mad Bag presterilized mycobags, also known as grow bags are quite possibly the simplest mushroom growing kits in the world! They provide an easy and affordable way for anyone to get started growing their own mushrooms. Unlike the "grow bags" sold by some of our competitors that are really grain spawn bags that require a bulk substrate, our Mad Bags are designed for invitro (in-the-bag) fruiting so there is no need for a growing chamber or greenhouse and the bags don't require any misting or fanning. They provide a completely self-contained and contaminant-free growing environment for your mushrooms to thrive. Each bag contains over 1 pound (approximately 2 cups) of substrate.
Mad Bags should be inoculated as soon as possible after receiving them. We make them fresh because freshness counts. The bags will lose moisture over time and work best when inoculated within a week. We don't recommend purchasing the bags if you aren't planning to inoculate them within a short time frame.
How are these bags different from bags sold by other vendors? Most vendors sell bags that only contain grain, such as our
WBS Spawn Bags
. These grain-only bags work for use as spawn to a bulk substrate, but they will NOT do well invitro. If you're looking for an all-in-one bag that doesn't require anything besides inoculant, our Mad Bags should be your first choice.
Want to see how easy it is to use our bags? Here are the
DIRECTIONS
. The Mad Bag kit includes a single Mad Bag.
***Note: Inoculant is
not
provided with our Mad Bags***
